PhD Student in Computer Science

University College London

Hi, I am a third year PhD student at University College London, UK under the supervision of Tobias Ritschel and Niloy J. Mitra. I am interested in explaining our world from 2D visual observations. More specifically, my research focuses on weakly supervised 3D texture synthesis and 3D reconstruction from 2D images.

I spent a summer at Facebook AI Research (FAIR) London, working with David Novotny and Andrea Vedaldi on unsupervised 3D learning. Prior to that, I completed a MSc in Media Informatics at Ulm University, Germany where I was supervised by Timo Ropinski. I subsequently worked as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Measurement, Control and Microtechnology, Ulm University in collaboration with Klaus Dietmayer and Bosch advancing Autonomous Driving prior to my PhD.

In my spare time, I enjoy doing a lot of sport and I am very passionate about cooking.
